Australia. February 2015.
Liberal Party Prime Minister Tony Abbott's public approval ratings sink to record lows.  When Abbott, on his own initiative, knights the UK's Prince Phillip, not even a devoted supporter like right-wing columnist Andrew Bolt can make sense of the decision.  Abbott is reported as being out of touch with the Australian population - economically, politically, ideologically and culturally.  Sensing the public's mounting disdain for the Liberal leader, furious back-benchers call for a leadership spill.  After the spill, Abbott maintains the Liberal Party leadership, but with an approval rating of about 66%, exactly the same approval rating that had former Labor Prime Minister Julia Gillard when Abbott demanded to know how she could claim the right to leadership with such a low approval rating.  The following week, a prominent USA think tank released a report labeling Abbott the most incompetent of current world leaders (and a disappointment coming from a nation that has always been at the forefront of initiatives).  Despite Abbott's earlier claim to the contrary, it seems that one man can indeed be the suppository of all wisdom after all.

An Australian English language teacher about to return to China to teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at the University of Jinan registers a new Transmedia digital publishing company: CAILL Transmedia Pty. Ltd. - intending to design, publish, distribute and disseminate digital language learning "enhanced" e-Books and related resources.

With 5 days until his return to China, he buys a 2nd hand BMW, equips himself with multiple handycams, dashcams, mobile phone cams, webcams, action cams and their related accessories, and sets out on a road trip along the Great Ocean Road, a journey across an authentic Australia, to gather enough video for both a digital video feature film and an ongoing series of pedagogically edited videos for his students in China.

With editing software on his PC and portable wifi, he intends to construct short films, vignettes and sequences along the way and upload them daily to his registered company's international transmedia network.
